Eureka, Mont., civic organization. The Tobacco Valley Improvement Association (TVIA) was begun by high school principal Norman Korn on 1 Nov. 1945. The purpose of the organization was to discuss and, if necessary, to take action to improve the area. The Eureka Community Hospital Association was formed in 1955 in an attempt to build a hospital in Eureka, Mont. The group worked in conjunction with the Tobacco Valley Improvement Association to try to raise funds and to tackle the legal loopholes necessary to build a hospital.
